For the last year, I have thought about what I would say to you today. It's the day before my debut novel releases to the world -- the day before the biggest dream I've ever imagined is realized. And so now...I want to have a heart-to-heart with you.
For the past few months, I've received more encouragement and support than I could have ever imagined. You've helped me live this dream so far...I cannot thank you enough. From the likes and comments on my posts to the heart-felt...
My debut novel, A New Requiem, which many of you have followed for months now is finally available for pre-order on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and all major book retailers! For so long I have dreamed of writing a novel, and to see this finally culminate into a reality has created happiness beyond measure. I am thrilled to share this story and its powerful message with you, and I hope you will enjoy reading it as much as I did writing it.
After much discussion and deliberation, the book will not release September 24. Instead, it'll release July 12.
My editor has been very complimentary of the novel, and since it is complete, I'm ready. My publisher is as well, so there is no need to wait. The project is well ahead of schedule, and all of us are ready to go. A New Requiem will be available at major book retailers everywhere Friday, July 12.
If you want to pre-order and make sure you get your copy that day,...

While I'd love to be outside, I am instead seated comfortably inside, away from a brisk cold wind that has...
I could choose many words to describe Dwight Berry, but I'll start by noting the first that comes to mind: selfless.

His constant willingness to help me, and others, is what I will most remember him for, but make no mistake about it: his presence in a room was commanding, and his talents...
This weekend I journeyed to a small town in northeastern North Carolina that I have the privilege of calling home.
A populous of slightly less than 600 people, Jackson has always been a charming place, equipped with all the essentials of Southern living, including but not limited to the local churches, fine Southern architecture, and local eateries that always delight. I regret that I was not able to enjoy the Embassy Cafe, though, as they are not open on the weekend, but if you ever get...
For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to write a novel.
